Lots of activities, children choose
A Bloom Meet is an open, relaxed community session. The main room is set up with lots of different hands-on activities and challenges, and children move freely between them with their parents and carers alongside — choosing what to explore, for how long, and in whatever way suits them.
There's no timetable and no pressure to join in everything. Children can take breaks, watch, chat, create, investigate, or simply take their time before they feel ready to take part.

Taught small-group sessions
For families who'd like a little more structure, an optional taught session runs upstairs during the meet. It's a small, calm group led by a practitioner who guides children through a specific topic with hands-on materials and a clear focus — different from the open activities downstairs.
Every session is different. Children might build a circuit, investigate magnets, solve a puzzle, plant something, explore archaeology or history, get creative, tackle a practical life-skills challenge, build, make, experiment or discover something completely new.
The activities are carefully chosen to spark curiosity, conversation, problem-solving and that feeling of "I did it." Children choose what interests them and can take part in their own way — there is no pressure to complete everything or join in before they are ready.
The activities are the starting point. Confidence, connection and a renewed enjoyment of exploring and learning are what we hope children take home. The £10 per child fee covers a 40-minute guided session with all materials provided, while the main room stays open downstairs with a member of the Bloom team present.
