Families together at a Bloom Room session
What happens

Lots to explore, children choose

A session is an open, relaxed community meet. The room is set up with lots of different hands-on activities and challenges, and children move freely between them with their parents and carers alongside — choosing what to explore, for how long, and in whatever way suits them.

There's no timetable and no pressure to join in everything. Children can take breaks, watch, chat, create, investigate, or simply take their time before they feel ready.

Who can attend

All ages and abilities welcome

There is no diagnosis needed and no expectation to take part in one particular way. Every child is welcome, and parents and carers stay with their children throughout.

Home educated children and young people

Neurodivergent children and those with additional needs

Children finding school difficult or experiencing school distress

Children and families simply looking for somewhere to connect

Children and young people of all ages — with a parent or carer alongside

Parent meet-ups

A space for parents and carers

As well as the children's sessions, we run parent-only meet-ups — a relaxed space to talk, share experiences and connect with other parents and carers who understand. It's a chance to feel supported, swap practical ideas and know you're not on your own.
