Working together for local families
The Bloom Room Community CIC is a small, local community interest company. We create inclusive community spaces for children, young people and families in the Ribble Valley — and we're building the partnerships and funding to reach more of them.
A community interest company
As a CIC, we exist for community benefit. Everything we do is reinvested into creating accessible opportunities for families — there are no shareholders and no profit extraction. Our purpose is simple: to make sure children who might otherwise miss out have somewhere to connect, explore and feel they belong.
What families tell us
We listen carefully to the families we work with. Their experiences shape everything we do, and they point to clear, practical barriers to accessing support.
The cost of activities and support limits what families can access
Support often isn't set up for neurodivergent children and their families
Local, inclusive opportunities can be hard to find
Families frequently reach support only once things have reached crisis
Stronger together
We work alongside local venues, community organisations and specialist facilitators to offer varied, high-quality experiences for children. We're always open to new partnerships that help us reach families who would benefit most — whether that's a venue, a facilitator, a local group or a business that shares our values.
What funding would make possible
With the right funding and partnerships, we can keep removing the barriers families face and grow what we offer.
